The PTA funds new programs & activities, initiatives, and enhancements to the current curriculum, and we work closely with our school district leaders to make this happen. Becoming a Smallwood PTA Member financially supports these goals.

Here are a few examples of programs that are made possible by the PTA Membership fee and our fundraising events:

• Field trips and busing expenses

• Teacher grants for unique activities and experiences

• Support for school initiatives + student literacy

• PAWS t-shirts for incoming UPK, kindergarten and new students

• Special Education cooking class and coffee cart

• Smallwood Drive School Memorial Garden

• Teacher and Staff appreciation activities

• Spring activities for all grades

• Smallwood School apparel

• 5th Grade Musical

• 5th Grade Moving Up Day ceremony and after party
